The size depends on the task at hand. For light-duty tasks like washing or outdoor furniture, a pressure washer with 1000–2000 PSI (60 bar to 120) and 1–2 GPM is ideal. Medium-duty tasks like cleaning decks or patios or  medium commercially cleaning vehicles require 1200–3000 PSI and 2–3 GPM(7 to 12litres pler minute). Heavy-duty tasks, such as stripping paint or cleaning commercial spaces, or commercial patio cleaning generally requires any where between 15 lpm to 21lpm, some invest in 21lpm and  larger to speed the work time up.
